Senufo

 The sprawling maternity figures of the Senufo in the Ivory Coast are renowned in the ethnic art world, and Senufo figures often employ sharp curves and angles and abstractions.  Other motifs include the horse and rider and the Hornbill bird.  The most impressive pieces of Senufo carving are the figural house posts, some towering over 6 feet tall!
