Additional Information: This knife is very similar to the example published in African Weapon by Werner Fischer and Manfred A. Zirngibl. 1978, fig. 259 and identified as a Pende knife with off-centered blade and wood handle. This was likely once a serviceable knife carried by individuals of high rank and status.
