Additional Information: A stylized cast figure with an elongated belly, in an unusual kneeling position!

A tradition of metal (iron, bronze and brass) cast figures is found among a number of different peoples of the Western Sudan including the Senufo, Dogon, Akan, Bozo and the various groups of Burkina Faso. This figure is more likely Dogon than Senufo.
